Notwithstanding the inclemency of the weather, this affair was well attended, and the competitions for premiums quite brisk.

We give a list of the premiums awarded to persons residing in this and the adjoining towns.

For the 2d best pair of matched horses, $3, J. P. Mansfield, Seneca.

For the best three year old colt, $5, George Forden, Seneca.

For the best two year old colt, $5, T. W. Hall, Seneca.

For the 2d best two year old colt, $3, A. M. Bush, Hopewell.

For the 3d best two year old colt, vol. trans., P. W. Dickey, Phelps.

For the best one year old colt, $3, E. Blodget, Gorham.

For the best bull over two years old, $7, Benj. Green, Gorham.

For the best yoke of working oxen, $7, J. N. Gurnsey, Gorham.

For the best Saxon ram, $5, S. Henry, Gorham.
