townships in the county of Ontario, being the North part of lot number
fourteen, containing one hundred and thirty and 55/100th’s acres of
land.
This Mortgage being given to secure the purchase money of the said
premises.
Provided always and these presents are upon this express condition,

if the said William Fulton, his heirs or personal representatives shall
will and truly pay or cause to be paid to Frederick A. Norton his
personal
representatives or assigns, the said and full sum of two thousand
dollars
in manner following, that is to say two hundred dollars on May 1, 1834
and the remaining $1800.00 in eight annual installments of two hundred

and Ryckman location and known and distinguished as lot number four (4)
on the North side of Castle Street being fifty feet in front on Castle
Street and one hundred and fifty feet in depth. To be paid in manner
following
that is to say five hundred dollars upon certain bond and mortgage
executed,
the bond by Robert Darham and the mortgage by said Robert and Ann Maria
his wife the 6th day of July 1833 to the Ontario Insurance company as
the
money thereon becomes due, Five Hundred dollars to the said Ann Suydam
as follows to wit in six equal annual installments to commence at the
expiration
of four years from this date with lawful interest to commence from this
date to be paid annually on the whole sum of five hundred dollars. If

bearing date the 22nd day of August 1836. I shall expose to public sale
on the 25th day of November next at 10 o'clock in the forenoon at the
mansion
house in the village of Geneva in the county of Ontario and State of

York known and distinguished as lot number 27 in the subdivision of the
meadow lot so called in the North part of the village of Geneva
according

Clarissa Fulton and Joseph H. Fulton her husband of Geneva Ontario
County, New York are selling to James Teall of the same place for

all that tract or parcel of land situate in the town of Seneca, Ontario
County New York, Bounded and described as follows viz: Beginning
at the north west corner of Aaron B. Esty’s land and running thence
north
along land formerly owned by George Ecker and now owned by one
Crittenden
to the Sodus Point and Southern Rail Road: thence along the said
Rail Road northerly to land owned by one Burt Tallman, thence east
along
said Tallman’s land to Runyan’s land: thence east along said Runyan’s
land
to the north west corner of Durston Reed’s land: thence south along
said
Reed’s land to Aaron B. Esty’s land: thence west along said
Esty’s
land to the place of beginning, containing eighty eight acres of land
be
the same more or less, being the farm known as the William Esty farm
situate
about a mile south of Castleton and the same premises described in a
deed
from W.L. Eddy and wife to Joseph H. Fulton dated February 14, 1842

Gertrude Fulton and Hugh Fulton her husband of Geneva, Ontario County
New York are selling to James Teall of the same place for $1 all that
piece
or parcel of land situate in the village of Geneva, Ontario County, New
York, viz.: All that part of the lot or parcel of land which was
conveyed
by Clarissa & Joseph H. Fulton the said Gertrude A. Fulton by
Warrantee
“Deed date November 7th 1876 and on that day duly acknowledged before
George
W. French – Esq. Justice of the Peace, except the following piece or
parcel
of land viz.: commencing at the south west corner of a lot occupied by
one Dennison, on the north line of Washington street & running
thence
westerly along said north line 66 feet & 4 inches to a stake:
thence north 16 & ¾ degrees east 152 feet to a stake:
thence westerly parallel with the north line of Washington street 68
feet
8 inches to the east line of the said Dennison’s lot: thence
southerly
along the said west line to the place of beginning. The premises
hereby intended to be conveyed is all the lands in the said Gertrude A.
Fulton under the said deed from said Clarissa & Joseph H. Fulton
&
this conveyance, shall take & hold & have only the land
which
is embraced within the boundaries & included in the description of
the premises hereby excepted from this conveyance and so that the said
James Teall shall have & hold with this conveyance – the deed from
Clarissa & Joseph H. Fulton to him dated on or about Nov 20th 1876
all the land described in and intended to be conveyed by that deed
which
is now on record in Ontario County Clerk’s Office having been recorded
on or about the 21st day of November aforesaid. The premises
hereby
accepted from this deed being the same as was accepted & reserved
in
the deed to said Teall last before mentioned.

selling to Joseph H. Fulton and Clarissa Fulton his wife of the same

County New York, viz.: All that part of the “Walter Taylor lot” situate
on the north side of Washington street in Geneva aforesaid and bounded
as follows: Commencing at the south west corner of a lot occupied
by one Dennison on the north line of Washington street and running

westerly along said north line sixty six feet and four inches <66 ft
& 4 in> to a stake: thence north sixteen and three fourths
degrees

a stake: thence easterly parallel with the north line of

Fulton & Gertrude Fulton his wife as and for their residence.
[Note: Joseph and Clarissa conveyed several parcels of land to
Moses Yeomans to settle a mortgage on them dated 23 November 1874. This
part of those parcels is being returned to Joseph and Clarissa while
the
rest of the parcels are being held by Moses Yoemans as security for the
money remaining due on the mortgage.]

Betsey Whitwell of Geneva, Ontario County, New York Is selling to
Joseph
H. Fulton and Clarissa Fulton his wife
Witnessed: that Joseph H. Fulton and Clarissa Fulton by an indenture
of Mortgage bearing date of April 1, 1875 for the consideration therein
mentioned, and to secure the payment of the money therein specified,
did
convey certain lands of which the land hereinafter described are part.
Betsey Whitwell at the request of Joseph H. Fulton and Clarissa Fulton
to hold and retain the residue of the said mortgaged lands as security
for the money remaining unpaid on the said mortgage. Now this indenture
witnessed, that Betsey Whitwell in pursuance of the said agreement, and
in consideration of $1.00 duly paid sell all that tract or parcel of
land
situate on the village of Geneva, Ontario County, New York vis.: All
that
part of the Walter Taylor lot, situate on the North side of Washington
Street in Geneva aforesaid and bounded as follows: commencing at
the Southwest corner of a lot occupied by one Dennison in the North
line
of Washington Street and running thence Westerly along said North line
sixty six feet and four inches (66ft. 4 in.) to a stake. Thence North
sixteen
and three fourths degrees West one hundred and fifty two feet to a
stake.
Thence Easterly parallel with the North line of Washington Street sixty
eight feet and eight inches to the West line of said Dennison’s lot.
Thence
southerly along the said West line to the place of beginning. Being the
same premises occupied by Hugh Fulton and Gertrude Fulton his wife as
and
for their residence.

Joseph H. Fulton and Clarissa Fulton his wife of the village of Geneva,
Ontario Co. N.Y. are selling to Hiram Close of the same place for $100
all that tract or parcel of land situate in the village of Geneva lying
on the north side of Castle St. and west side of Brick House owned and
occupied by the said Fulton’s. Being four inches more or less on
Castle St. running north 40 feet to rear of said Fulton’s Brick House

west ten feet more or less parallel with Castle St. to land now owned
by
Hiram Close together with an equal right to Brick wall owned by said
Fulton’s
to use for building thereto. And the second part further agrees
not
to injure the brick wall by building their to nor the chimneys.

89 of Phelps and Gorham purchase described as follows viz:

north eighty five degrees and twenty one chains and twelve links to

of George Rippey, thence north five degrees east eleven chains and
